✨ Board Member Spotlight - Stephanie Hall ✨

We’re excited to introduce Stephanie Hall, a valued member of the Robinson Education Foundation!

Stephanie serves as the Manager of Operations in the pharmacy department at Baylor Scott & White, where she plays an important role in supporting healthcare operations behind the scenes.

Stephanie joined REF after being encouraged by a friend and quickly found her passion in planning events and staying actively involved in the school community that helps shape her daughters’ lives. Her ā€œwhyā€ is simple but powerful—raising funds that directly pour back into Robinson students. She believes Robinson ISD is truly special and is incredibly grateful for the teachers who go above and beyond to make learning meaningful and fun.

Stephanie earned her Associate of Arts degree from McLennan Community College and has been part of the Robinson community since 2014. When she’s not working or volunteering, you can find her embracing the outdoors—whether it’s time at the lake, camping, or relaxing at the beach. And like many busy parents, she stays on the go as her kids’ full-time chauffeur!

At home, Stephanie’s crew includes two dogs, one cat, 11 longhorns, and 7 chickens—keeping life fun, full, and never dull.

We’re grateful for Stephanie’s heart for service and her dedication to Robinson students and staff! šŸ’™

Magnifying Discovery: Taking Our Cell Units to the Next Level! šŸ”¬šŸ§¬
We are excited to announce that our science classrooms are expanding their horizons with the addition of new, hands-on magnetic cell models provided through a Robinson Education Foundation grant.

Our students are already deep into exploring the building blocks of life, and this grant allows us to extend their learning beyond the textbook. By integrating these tactile tools, we are giving our young scientists a more interactive way to master the complexities of cell theory and organism characteristics.
Students can now manipulate 3D structures to reinforce the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms.
These models help visualize the nucleus and basic cell structures, solidifying a strong scientific foundation.
Transitioning from diagrams to physical models allows for a more sophisticated understanding of how life is organized.

By investing in these high-quality resources, we are ensuring our students have the tools they need to dive deeper into the world of biology and prepare for the advanced scientific challenges ahead! 🌟🧫

All Hail the Cell Grant
We are thrilled to announce one of our latest grants funded by the Robinson Education Foundation (REF)!

Our Spanish 4H students do incredible work—from mastering international cuisines to conducting deep-dive research at Cameron Park Zoo. But until now, those recipes and animal guides lived on loose sheets of paper. Thanks to REF, we are bringing a professional book binder to our campus!

Students’ international recipes will now be bound into a high-quality, student-designed cookbook. Our zoo research will become durable, beautiful booklets gifted to our EB Primary and Elementary students and their families to keep forever.

Thank you, REF, for investing in our students and helping us turn "assignments" into "lasting legacies!" šŸš€šŸ’™ā

✨ Meet Meredith Redding ✨

We’re excited to introduce Meredith Redding, a dedicated member of the Robinson Education Foundation serving as Vice President of Development!

Meredith is a proud stay-at-home mom to three energetic boys (ages 5, 7, and 9), a rancher/farmer’s wife, and the creative force behind her small business, HotMess Express Ts—a local favorite! Before stepping into this season of life, Meredith made a meaningful impact as a teacher, coach, and educational counselor with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice through Windham School District, serving in multiple state penitentiaries.

Her passion for education and service is what led her to REF. Meredith believes deeply in public education and the importance of investing in today’s students as tomorrow’s leaders. As a former educator, she finds great joy in seeing teachers recognized for their dedication and in knowing that grants awarded directly enhance student learning experiences.

A lifelong member of the Robinson community, Meredith has called it home for 39 years. A 2004 Robinson graduate, she returned in 2011 to teach and coach at Robinson High School. Her roots run deep—both her parents and in-laws are Robinson graduates, and both of her grandfathers served on the school board.

When she’s not supporting REF, Meredith enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, going for runs, and cheering on her boys—Bobby-Jake, Waylon, and Rip—at their sporting events. She and her husband, Cameron (a 2006 Robinson graduate), are proud to carry on a strong family legacy in Robinson.

šŸš€ As Meredith says best: ā€œRockets truly never quit!ā€

We are so excited to share that our Boxes of Hope project was funded by REF!

Inspired by the heartwarming story Hattie’s Birthday Box, our students are dove into a special journey of empathy and connection. This grant allowed them to go beyond the textbook to build a stronger, kinder classroom community.

Students practiced their literacy skills by writing heartfelt poems, letters, and compliments for their classmates. Each student handcrafted unique gifts to fill "Boxes of Hope" for one another. This project focused on positive communication and celebrated the unique value each student brings to our school.

It’s about more than just reading and writing—it’s about teaching our students how to lift each other up. We enjoyed seeing the strengthened friendships this project created! šŸ’™ā

Highlighting Our Leadership: Meet Lacy Theobald! šŸŒŸšŸ¤
It takes a special kind of heart to lead, and we are so proud to have Lacy Theobald serving as our Robinson Education Foundation President!

Lacy has been a dedicated member of the REF board since 2021, and she brings an incredible wealth of knowledge to the table. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor and Registered Play Therapistā„¢, Lacy has spent over 24 years serving children and families in our community.

Here’s a closer look at our President:

Expertise & Heart: Lacy’s professional life is dedicated to mental health counseling, with a deep focus on helping children and adolescents thrive.

Educational Excellence: She’s a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2002 šŸ‘ (Whoop!) and earned her Master’s from UT Arlington.

Robinson Roots: After growing up in McLennan County, Lacy and her husband, Wesley, chose Robinson in 2017 specifically for the strength of our schools.

Mom on the Go: You’ll often find her cheering on her two sons, Copeland and Clayton, at their RISD sporting events or enjoying the great outdoors with her family. šŸ”ļøāš¾ļø

Lacy’s mission is simple but powerful: she wants to ensure every child in Robinson ISD has the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. We are so grateful for her vision, her clinical expertise, and her unwavering commitment to our students and teachers!

"I want to give back to a community that invests so deeply in its students." — Lacy Theobald

Thank you, Lacy, for everything you do to lead the REF forward! šŸ’™šŸš€

šŸŽ“ Celebrating Excellence & Influence! 🌟
The Robinson Education Foundation is counting down the days to one of our favorite nights of the year! On Monday, April 27th, we will gather at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame to honor the Top 25 graduates of Robinson High School.

But this night isn't just about GPA—it’s about the people who helped build the foundation for that success. Each of our Top 25 students has selected the one educator who made the most significant impact on their lives. šŸŽāœØ

From late-night study sessions to words of encouragement that changed a student's trajectory, these educators represent the heart of Robinson ISD.

To our students: You’ve worked incredibly hard. To our educators: Thank you for lighting the way. We can’t wait to share this special evening with you all! Stay tuned for photos and highlights from the event. šŸ“øšŸ’™šŸš€

✨ New Board Member Spotlight ✨

We’re excited to introduce another new board member, Jillian Cook.

She is the owner of Cook Capital Investments, LLC, a commercial real estate management company. After previously working in multi-family residential real estate, she made the transition into commercial real estate two years ago and hasn’t looked back!

Her passion for serving comes from a strong family legacy of involvement within the district and REF. Inspired by family members who have supported and contributed to this meaningful program, she saw joining the board as the perfect opportunity to give back—while also spending more time with her sister-in-law, Katie, and connecting with other Robinson ISD families.

She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Tarleton State University and has proudly called Robinson home since 2016. She and her husband are raising their son, Barrett, who is currently in kindergarten. When she’s not working or volunteering, you’ll likely find her hosting gatherings—her husband handles the cooking while she brings the creativity through planning and decorating!

šŸ•·ļø Fun Fact: Their household includes three pet tarantulas… but don’t worry, they don’t bother any guests! šŸ˜„

We’re so grateful for her leadership, energy, and commitment to supporting our students and educators!
