Our third graders stepped into the kitchen to become "fraction chefs" thanks to our latest classroom transformation grant!
By turning our classrooms into vibrant pizzerias, weâre making math delicious. Students will use pizza-themed manipulatives and cardboard pizza boxes to slice through the complexities of fractions, practicing how to partition, compose, and decompose with every "order" they fill.
We canât wait to see our students build their math fluency one slice at a time. Get ready for some master chefs in the making! đŠâđłđ¨âđłâ¨

We are glowing with excitement for this grant that was funded! Weâre bringing an immersive room transformation to our classrooms to take our STAAR review to a whole new level.
By turning the lights down and the engagement up with glow-in-the-dark materials, weâre creating a high-energy environment where students are motivated to master every standard.
We believe that when students are excited to learn, their potential is limitless. We love seeing our students shine bright! đđ

Do you or a business you know of want to donate an item for the event? Let us know! It's going to be a fun filled evening!
Our 7th-grade history students are trading their desks for a hands-on journey into the past! Thanks to our newly funded grant, history is coming alive as students work together to construct an authentic Plains Indian home right here on campus. This immersive project transforms a traditional lesson into a living classroom, providing a unique outdoor space where students across all subjects can engage with Native American culture and history in a truly tangible way. We canât wait to see this incredible structure become a cornerstone of exploration and discovery for our entire school community! âď¸đš

Our Kindergarteners have a new "paws-itive" reason to reach their reading goals! We are so excited to introduce our new reading incentive program where students can earn their very own "Spot" the dog.
By meeting their weekly reading milestones, students earn a tangible reward that celebrates their hard work and dedication to literacy. This fun, hands-on motivation keeps engagement high and turns every new word mastered into a reason to celebrate. We canât wait to see a classroom full of "Spots" and even more confident, excited readers! đđ

⨠Meet Cindy Kososki â¨
Weâre excited to introduce Cindy Kososki, a passionate member of the Robinson Education Foundation who continues to make a lasting impact on students and educators!
Cindy serves as a Strategic Integration Liaison at Region 12, where she coaches district leadership teams through systems-level change. She is dedicated to building strong partnerships, providing resources, and supporting schools in creating systems that meet the needs of all students.
Her âwhyâ is rooted in experience. Cindy spent 14 years teaching in Robinson ISD, where she also received three REF grants that brought innovative learning opportunities to her classroom. Seeing that impact firsthand inspired her to give back through REFâhelping ensure teachers have the support and resources to bring their ideas to life for students across the district.
Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Baylor University (2003), completed studies in Differentiated Instruction at Concordia University Austin (2015), and earned her Doctorate of Special Education from Walden University in 2024.
Originally from Houston, Cindy moved to Waco in 2000 to attend Baylor and has called it home ever since. She taught in Robinson from 2004â2018, and her familyâs connection to the district runs deep. Both of her daughters are Robinson graduatesâBaylee (Class of 2023) and Ellie (Class of 2026âalmost to the finish line!).
As Cindy shares, âMy kids may be graduates, but my heart is still in Robinson. Serving through REF is how I stay connected to the district that has done so much for us.â
Outside of her work and service, Cindy and her husband, Adam, enjoy serving through their church and Shriners Childrenâs. They love watching hockey, cheering on the Baylor Bears, and spending time together as a familyâespecially cruising and exploring new beaches.
Weâre grateful for Cindyâs heart for service and her continued commitment to Robinson ISD! đ
