Our Kindergarteners have a new "paws-itive" reason to reach their reading goals! We are so excited to introduce our new reading incentive program where students can earn their very own "Spot" the dog.
By meeting their weekly reading milestones, students earn a tangible reward that celebrates their hard work and dedication to literacy. This fun, hands-on motivation keeps engagement high and turns every new word mastered into a reason to celebrate. We canβt wait to see a classroom full of "Spots" and even more confident, excited readers! ππ

β¨ Meet Cindy Kososki β¨
Weβre excited to introduce Cindy Kososki, a passionate member of the Robinson Education Foundation who continues to make a lasting impact on students and educators!
Cindy serves as a Strategic Integration Liaison at Region 12, where she coaches district leadership teams through systems-level change. She is dedicated to building strong partnerships, providing resources, and supporting schools in creating systems that meet the needs of all students.
Her βwhyβ is rooted in experience. Cindy spent 14 years teaching in Robinson ISD, where she also received three REF grants that brought innovative learning opportunities to her classroom. Seeing that impact firsthand inspired her to give back through REFβhelping ensure teachers have the support and resources to bring their ideas to life for students across the district.
Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Baylor University (2003), completed studies in Differentiated Instruction at Concordia University Austin (2015), and earned her Doctorate of Special Education from Walden University in 2024.
Originally from Houston, Cindy moved to Waco in 2000 to attend Baylor and has called it home ever since. She taught in Robinson from 2004β2018, and her familyβs connection to the district runs deep. Both of her daughters are Robinson graduatesβBaylee (Class of 2023) and Ellie (Class of 2026βalmost to the finish line!).
As Cindy shares, βMy kids may be graduates, but my heart is still in Robinson. Serving through REF is how I stay connected to the district that has done so much for us.β
Outside of her work and service, Cindy and her husband, Adam, enjoy serving through their church and Shriners Childrenβs. They love watching hockey, cheering on the Baylor Bears, and spending time together as a familyβespecially cruising and exploring new beaches.
Weβre grateful for Cindyβs heart for service and her continued commitment to Robinson ISD! π

We are thrilled to announce that our playground is getting a specialized upgrade designed to boost both bodies and brains! This new spinning equipment isn't just about funβitβs a powerful tool for student regulation. By engaging in purposeful movement, our students can strengthen their core, improve balance, and settle their minds, ensuring they head back to the classroom focused, energized, and ready to learn. We love seeing our students spin, grow, and thrive! πβ¨

We are thrilled to announce that our students are diving deeper into the study of ecosystems thanks to our newly funded Owl Pellet Dissection grant!
This hands-on exploration allows our young ecologists to step into the role of field biologists. By analyzing owl pellets, they are moving beyond the textbook to reconstruct the complex relationships that exist within our local environments.
Itβs one thing to read about a food chain, but itβs another to hold the evidence in your hands! We canβt wait to see our studentsβ discoveries as they piece together the mysteries of the natural world. π¦΄πΏ

We are excited to announce that our science classrooms are expanding their horizons with the addition of new, hands-on magnetic cell models provided through a Robinson Education Foundation grant.
Our students are already deep into exploring the building blocks of life, and this grant allows us to extend their learning beyond the textbook. By integrating these tactile tools, we are giving our young scientists a more interactive way to master the complexities of cell theory and organism characteristics.
Students can now manipulate 3D structures to reinforce the differences between prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms.
These models help visualize the nucleus and basic cell structures, solidifying a strong scientific foundation.
Transitioning from diagrams to physical models allows for a more sophisticated understanding of how life is organized.
By investing in these high-quality resources, we are ensuring our students have the tools they need to dive deeper into the world of biology and prepare for the advanced scientific challenges ahead! ππ§«
