FYI — We are very cautious when talking about wearing costumes at a primary school. With the age of our students, the costumes have a real high probability of getting torn up. 😳 However, we are allowing costumes on Tuesday, Oct. 30th to school and then that night to trick or treat at 5:30 while parents are learning at Grit Night. We do not want costumes on Wednesday the 31st because they will be running the obstacle course and this will be hard with a costume. The PTO is selling masks for a dollar to run with during the obstacle course. SO the recap is -
Your child can wear a costume (totally optional) to school on Tuesday the 30th but remember they will have lunch, recess, and pe. Please have them wear the costume to the GRIT Night at 5:30 on Tuesday night. Please do not send your child in a costume on Wednesday the 31st. Thank you!
