News We have already had several chromebooks with broken screens. Please encourage your students to take care of theirs. They will be charged for damage done to their chromebook, and the majority of our work is done on the chromebook. Please make sure you are working hard at selling A+ cards. This is our one and only fundraiser for the year. Money from it helps with student rewards, teacher appreciation etc. Please return your envelopes Monday. All JH students attending a sporting event hosted at the High School or stadium must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the game. Apply for free/reduced lunch meals! CharacterStrong Spotlight This week we are focusing on Building Connections. This foundational relationship-building session explores the definition of community and helps students to build connections with others in the class. Why It Matters: Belonging doesn't happen by accident, it happens when people intentionally include others. Every student has the power to make our school more welcoming. 8/31 - Volleyball vs. La Vega 9/7 - Labor Day, no school 9/9 - XC @ Salado 9/10 - Volleyball @ China Spring and Football @ Lorena. WIN rotations started August 25th. Make sure you have a WIN picked everyday. You can choose activities on Flex. Chromebooks need to be brought to school each day fully charged. Please know that all activity on Chromebooks is monitored. The devices also need to be cared for, please don’t put stickers on them. Students with an outstanding balance for chromebook damages need to remedy that prior to being issued a Chromebook for this school year. We have had a great start to school with the phone policy. Please remember all communication devices must be “away for the day” from 7:40-4:00. Reminder! Food deliveries from Rocket Cafe, Launch Pad, Pizza Junction, and Golinda Country Store. Parents may always drop off food, but doordash and other delivery services are not allowed.

Our students completed a pH lab testing different liquids to determine if they are acidic, basic, or neutral. What a fun way to learn! #RobinsonISD

The lighting system at Rocket Field is undergoing routine maintenance this week. This requires our electrical contractors to turn on the lights at certain times during the business day. Thanks for your patience as we get ready for our game Friday night against Bellville! #RobinsonISD #RNQ
