Friday, September 19th is the 6-week progress report time. This 6 weeks grade check will make any failing UIL Participants ineligible from the time period of September 29 - October 17. If they are passing all classes on October 10th, then they would regain eligibility on October 20th. UIL rules state that ineligible students may attend home games, but must be in the bleachers and not on the bench. It also states that they cannot travel to away games with the team. If any student is failing on October 10th, they lose eligibility on October 20th. 9/20 - VB Tournament @ RHS 9/22 - VB vs. Lorena - Playing order is 7A/ 7B 5:00,8A/8B 6:00 9/24 - CC Meet @ RHS - Girls Start @ 5:00 & Boys Start @ 6:00 9/25 - “Demo the Eagles” - Construction gear - RJH Football @ Hillsboro 5pm - Games will be played as follows: 7th-B, 8th-B, 7th-A, 8th-A 9/26 - “Put the Eagles to sleep” - PJ Day (must be in dress code) - HS FB @ Hillsboro 9/27 - RJH "A" Volleyball Tournament @ West 9/29 - RJH Tennis @ Lake Belton MS 4:30 – 6:30pm 9/29 - RJH Volleyball @ China Spring - Playing order is 7A/ 7B 5:00,8A/8B 6:00 10/1 - No school for students; staff in-service 10/1 - Cross Country @ Belton Middle School Meet - Girls Start @ 5:00 & Boys Start @ 5:15 10/2 - BYE Week - Wear House Colors 10/3 - BYE Week - Happy Friday!!! Students, please consider joining a UIL team this year. We have a lot of opportunities. If there is a subject or activity you are interested in, please let the teacher know you’d like to participate. If you’re not sure what event you’d like to do, please check with Dr. Horton, and he can give you some ideas and help find a spot. All JH students attending a sporting event hosted at the High School or stadium must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the game. Wednesday, September 24th, will be a house lunch day. We will use that time to pass out new house shirts to students. Food deliveries from Rocket Cafe, LaunchPad, Pizza Junction and Golinda Country Store are allowed for lunches. Parents are always welcome to drop food off for their child.
We had our first pep rally of the year yesterday, and it was a great one! We had a a lot of fun, and the football teams did well last night. #RobinsonISD
