Students are discovering the effects of weather and erosion with Mrs Wood. #RobinsonISD teachers bring the oohs and ahhs to learning!! Our goal is to create lifelong experiences and memories for our students, and we appreciate the time our teachers put into making this happen!

Our amazing students representing Robinson ISD at UIL yesterday! Thank you students, UIL coaches, and counselors for all of your hard work. You make us proud!

We love to celebrate student learning! This student came today to the office to read his book to Mrs. Zacharias and share all that he’s learned! Music was played and he was celebrated! Thank you to teachers and staff that celebrate the successes of all students! #RobinsonISD

These Rockets spent the evening as a team enjoying each other and supporting the Baylor basketball team. We are thankful for them and Coach McKethan & Coach Crunk for giving up their evening to spend with our students! #RobinsonISD

Memorable moments were made in @makersrps this week. This little guy read about How to Catch an Elf in maker space & engineered this amazing elf trap. He was pumped. So thankful for @adkinmicteacher & how she challenges our students with fun & creative STEM projects. #robinsonisd

These boys definitely showed that Rockets Never Quit tonight! Thank you to these coaches who invest so much time in our students too.

Good video from the NFHS for parents/fans at extracurricular events. "The Parent Seat" explains the role of a parent during game day and provides suggestions on how they can cope with the roller coaster of emotions that they will feel.

Need a teacher/staff gift for Christmas? Please consider purchasing a jeans week as it's a gift that gives twice. Teachers get a week of jeans and it's a contribution to the Robinson Education Foundation that recently awarded almost $70,000 in grant requests to RISD teachers.

Sixty-four RISD Educators encouraged a student when they shared how they are an inspiration to them as a teacher/educator. There were many smiles, tears and full hearts. We are thankful for all the dedicated staff in RISD and the students that inspire us every day!

Congratulations to the October staff and teachers of the month in RISD!

We could not end this week without thanking our students and parents! We are blessed by you every day in some way. You are appreciated! Wishing you and your family a safe and happy week full of blessings.

Our technology dept has many ways they protect students and staff against cyber security. They keep us safe while learning with technology and repair and fix issues constantly. We are thankful for Bryan, James, Jason, and Justin!

We are grateful, thankful, and blessed to have the most amazing teachers in RISD. They work hard to not only teach content required by TEA, tend to the social and emotional needs of every student every day, & continue to grow and learn themselves too! You are appreciated!

We wouldn’t make it every day without all the support staff in RISD! The custodians, maintenance, secretaries, and instructional support staff make the district run smoothly. We are beyond blessed and thankful for each and every one of them!

RISD has 15 people who prepare meals for our students every day. The federal government requires them to follow strict guidelines and they do all this and provide service with a smile. We are thankful for them and hope all our families enjoy Thanksgiving lunches this week!

We have 6 media/innovation specialists in RISD that maintain an outstanding library book collection while also learning & providing wonderful learning extensions within the Makerspace areas. We are thankful for them! Don’t forget to visit the book fairs this week!

These positive solutions for families about setting limits for success were shared tonight by Region 12 Early Childhood Specialist Rachel Page. Thank you to Susan Godfrey for setting up this great night of learning for PK parents!

We are thankful for our PK teachers for organizing a great parent learning night! #RobinsonISD
