RJH students will have a game space in the cafeteria that challenges the mind while enjoying a break from everyday lessons all while learning how to interact socially and build relationships. Students will want to put down their phone to go and play a game with another group of students or staff and/or face the challenge in cup stacking. Students can thank Patti Goforth, RJH assistant principal and REF for the grant Put that Phone Down! view image
We Can't Wear Pajamas Every Day, but…is the grant that RJH teacher Jennifer Drummond wrote so that students in her classroom will have flexible seating to use for reading and writing in the classroom. Bean Bag chairs in assorted shapes and sizes will be purchased. view image
Do you know that math and cooking go together? Amber Clemons at Robinson Junior High is excited to receive a grant from REF for What's Cookin'? What's Cookin'? will incorporate hands-on cooking activities in the math classroom. We often use recipes and cooking-related measurements in math examples and word problems. The items purchased through the What's Cookin'? grant would allow us to bring those examples to life in the classroom. view image
