Texas, remember the importance of social distancing. If you must go out, avoid public spaces & keep your distance from others (at least 6 feet). If we continue to follow valuable public health guidance, fewer of our friends & family will be affected by COVID-19. #StayHomeTexas

April 6-9 we invite you to join us in a social-emotional learning spirit week. See the image for more details. Please share your pictures from this and all at-home learning at https://photos.app.goo.gl/yzZvVEPHPcgi1N1bA

We miss our students, and hope you are all well. This important message about COVID-19 will help to keep you safe and healthy. The most important thing you can do right now is stay at home! If that’s not possible, practice social distancing by staying 6 feet from others. Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs and countertops. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth, and cover a cough or sneeze with your elbow. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 – a fever, dry cough, or shortness of breath, call your doctor. Remember, by staying apart now, we can all be together again faster!

The Governor just announced that schools will remain closed through Friday, May 1st. RISD will update the FAQ and send an email update by tomorrow morning. Please continue to stay healthy and patient through this time! We love and miss our Rockets!

We hope you enjoy the first at-home instruction video from the pictures that were submitted through our instructional resources site at risdweb.org.

Wear red, white, and blue tomorrow in honor of Veterans Day !🇺🇸

Football high school theme is : CAMO! Wear camo if you would like! #Robinsonisd

FYI — We are very cautious when talking about wearing costumes at a primary school. With the age of our students, the costumes have a real high probability of getting torn up. 😳 However, we are allowing costumes on Tuesday, Oct. 30th to school and then that night to trick or treat at 5:30 while parents are learning at Grit Night. We do not want costumes on Wednesday the 31st because they will be running the obstacle course and this will be hard with a costume. The PTO is selling masks for a dollar to run with during the obstacle course. SO the recap is -
Your child can wear a costume (totally optional) to school on Tuesday the 30th but remember they will have lunch, recess, and pe. Please have them wear the costume to the GRIT Night at 5:30 on Tuesday night. Please do not send your child in a costume on Wednesday the 31st. Thank you!

Hey Hey Primary community!! We have the next fundraiser challenge coming up! For each class that raises 200 dollars gets a BAND and the dog tag! The first class to 550 dollars will get to PIE Mr. Herring in the FACE! How fun will that be to watch😳?! LET’S DO THIS!
