Good Afternoon Rockets! We are ready and waiting for this year to officially begin. Teachers have been back and working hard to prepare since this past Monday. First, please join us Monday for Meet the Rockets! We would love to see you for all parts of that evening! From 5:00-5:45, RHS administrators and counselors will be in the campus library to meet students, parents, and community members. Cookies will be served! At 6:00, Meet the Rockets will begin at Rocket Field. It’s our dream to see the stands at Rocket Field full and cheering on all students regardless of where they choose to participate. Meet the Teacher will look a bit different this year as new RHS staff will be introduced so students can put a name with a face. That event will conclude at approximately 6:45. The high school campus will be open until 7:30 if any student would like to take a self-guided tour to learn the route of their classes. Classrooms will not be open at that time. There will be staff members placed around the building to help students and parents with anything. The first day of school is Tuesday, August 20th. Freshmen will report to school at normal time (8:20 tardy bell) for fish camp! Sophomores through Seniors need to report at 11:40, pick up their schedule in the cafeteria, and begin their day at noon. Due to the change in start times for our high school students, we will run two bus routes on the first day. Buses picking up freshmen will run at normal times. Buses picking up sophomores through seniors will begin running their routes at 10:20. Lunch will be served at 11:00 for all freshman and anyone else wanting to eat in the cafeteria. Normal school hours will begin on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Please reach out with any questions or concerns! Rockets Never Quit! Sincerely, Kati Dietzman RHS Principal

Good Morning! I am happy to serve the students, staff, parents, and community as RHS Principal. I thought I’d take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself and our mission at RHS. First and foremost, we will continue to work to keep RHS a safe place for all. Second, we will do our best to meet students where they are personally and academically. Through caring relationships, we will keep working to make school engaging and applicable to real life. Our goal is to graduate students who are respectful, confident, and ready to go into the world as kind and productive citizens. I feel strongly that all kids should have a place to belong. I hope you guys will join me in being a community of support for all kids, no matter what academic or extra-curricular activity they choose. On a more personal level, I have been in the Robinson community for many years. I began my career in Robinson in 2002. I have served as a teacher, campus counselor, elementary principal, and most recently secondary curriculum coordinator. I love what Robinson is about and have had a blessed experience in this community. My husband, Ray, is my biggest cheerleader and we share three kids who keep us extremely busy and make us proud! My hope and daily prayer is we can work together as a school and community to continue to grow but to keep the sought after small town feel alive and well. As always, Rockets Never Quit!
