We miss our students, and hope you are all well. This important message about COVID-19 will help to keep you safe and healthy. The most important thing you can do right now is stay at home! If that’s not possible, practice social distancing by staying 6 feet from others. Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs and countertops. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth, and cover a cough or sneeze with your elbow. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 – a fever, dry cough, or shortness of breath, call your doctor. Remember, by staying apart now, we can all be together again faster!

To the Robinson ISD Community: Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote in the School Bond Election! The number of voters (1,754) who came out reinforces the interest our community has in RISD. Unfortunately, our facility needs will not disappear. The Board of Trustees will reconvene and examine the plan to address these issues. Once again, thank you for your participation in this election! We look forward to working with the Robinson community to enhance the educational environment and experience for all of our students and staff. Dr. Michael Hope
Today's softball playoff game in Madisonville against Huntington has been moved up to begin at 5 pm and will now be a doubleheader.
Students on bus six are also being rerouted back to the JH Cafetorium at this time.
Due to the water level on several roads in Robinson, students that ride bus 3,5,7,9,11 or 13 are currently being rerouted back to the JH Cafetorium. We can release the students to a parent or guardian there if you would like to pick them up. If you cannot pick your child up at that location, a bus will bring them home as soon as the water subsides. Thank you, Robinson ISD
Due to some large trees being down this morning, bus #10 and bus #11 are running about 20 minutes late.

The is a reminder that the Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting was rescheduled to this evening. Line-up will begin at 5:15 p.m. with the parade beginning at 6 p.m. Unfortunately, there have been some scheduling conflicts with this new date, one of those being the Robinson Junior High basketball games. But, the parade line-up and actual parade should not interfere with access and parking for those games and hopefully, players and attendees can step out to Lyndale in-between games to enjoy the floats as they go by.
Due to the weather, the Christmas parade for tonight has been canceled. If it is rescheduled, we will forward you that information.

Please pray for the Daugherty family: The following is the post from Gwen Daugherty this morning: Our journey is done. At 5:26 this morning, Randy crossed the finish line here on earth. I feel pretty confident that he is already cooking something, offering his version of advice or starting a building/construction class. Thank you for your prayers and support for our family the last couple of weeks. Please continue to hold us up as we take our next steps. We love you.
Shout outs to Randy Daugherty To send Randy a quick video message, thought, or memory, please click on the link. Password is RandyD#1 He will be able to access all. https://flipgrid.com/15d825b8
From Waco Trib: Tarleton State Men's Cross Country won Mississippi College’s Watson Ford Invitational, placing six runners in the top eight including overall winner Quenten Lasseter (Robinson), 7th place Kyle Doty (Bruceville-Eddy), and 8th place Johen Deleon (Robinson).
Robinson ISD is proud of her also!! From Eric Trojanowski post: It is with great pride that Melanie and I announce our oldest Abby will be representing Robinson High School at the Belton Invitational Swim Meet this upcoming Saturday. This is the first time a Robinson Rocket will ever compete in TX HS swimming as Abby is the only and founding member of the swim team. This was her choice to pursue, not ours. So we are especially proud of her effort in training to get herself to this point, but equally proud of her desire to compete and to stand on the blocks to represent her school. The meet starts at 10a at the Roy & Jean Potts Swim Center at Belton HS if you are interested in cheering her on. She will be competing in the 200 Freestyle - Event #3 & the 200 Individual Medley - Event #5.
