Each individual medication (regardless if prescription or over-the-counter) will have to have this form completed by parent/guardian and medication hand delivery from adult to nurse/aide. No student is allowed to transport medication to or from school.

School Health Advisory Council (SHAC)<insert doc here> (Purpose, meeting dates or agenda)
A SHAC is a group appointed by the school district to serve at the district level. Members of the SHAC come from different areas of the community and from within the school district. The majority of members must be parents who are not employed by the district.
Texas law requires the establishment of a SHAC for every district. SHACs are required to meet at least four times each year.
For the 2018-2019 school year, the SHAC me at 4:15 at the RISD Administration Building on the following dates:

The SHAC serves to inform and engage the Board of Trustees on issues surrounding Coordinated School Health. By engaging a variety of community stakeholders, and especially district parents, our district school health policies and education curriculum reflect the values and needs of the community.
